The blog was thought to be run by Israa (a nonbinary Chinese-Pakistani human trafficking victim) and Naj (a US-born lesbian of color), who both lived in India and were HIV positive. In actuality, the blog was run by one American college student.
This information (and subsequent dox) was found out by Tumblr user digoxin-purpurpea. Rumors say that this resentment came from digoxin-purpurpea being forced to delete their RPF cannibal-mermaid Hamilton fanfiction by hivliving and their followers
