The act of wearing a cape that is a replica of one worn by a superhero in the attempt to become cool. Because of the nature of this action, it is usually uncool. One out of every five hundred attempts is cool, though.

Thaddeus, in an attempt to increase his coolness after saying something positive about Twilight, attempted a heroicape by wearing robin's (batman's sidekick) cape. Nobody likes Thaddeus anymore.
