But if the crush does not say they love the victim in time, The victims lungs will fill up with more flowers and petals until they suffocate and die.

The disease is written in Japanese graphic novels such as Manga and fanfiction. The favorite flower of the person whom you share this love for begins to invade your lungs and throat as the days go by. The longer one waits to share this love the quicker the flowers begin to grow. Sometimes the person will only cough up the petals but in others, it's the petals and full flowers. The only way one can rid themselves of this disease is either by sharing these feelings with the person and getting the same love back or by surgery. However, by getting the surgery it means it'll take any adoration and love you had for the person away. You'll be left with numbness to take the place of that love for them.
