When somethings bad happens, it could be used as an alternative to swearing:

Freburg

The surname of a Swedish American family that has mostly inhabited northern Illinois for the past century. Originally Freiburg, the name was changed when the first 'burgs arrived from Sweden in the early 1900's. Characterized by very handsome men and women.
