Occurs frequently on blogs and Tumblr.

Person 1: "I just wrote a Tumblr post about how the remix of R. Kelly's Ignition is best song of the decade."
Person 2: "Dude, you realize that you are meta-enabling?"
Person 1: "Yeah, but I need to generate pageviews without losing my high-end advertising — or my self-regard."

Emblingen

Transitive verb - to be encrusted or coated with bling. Can refer to a person, describing the amount of bling worn by said person, or to an object that is heavily bejeweled.

Example 1:

Guy#1: "Yo, did you see the crucifix the pope was wearin' in the popemobile the other day?"
Guy #2: "No."
Guy #1: "That s*!%& was emblingened, son."

Example 2:

Girl#1: "That guy was FINE. Did you give him your number?"
Girl #2: "No, I make it a policy never to date any man that is more emblingened than me."

Embling

A euphemism for masturbation, particularly when used as an excuse to be absent from the workplace, e.g. by claiming to be present at another location, such as the EMBL campus.

Sorry guys, I can't come with you to lunch, I'm embling all day today!

emailing Amsterdam

The process of trying to check your email from inside a moving vehicle using public wi-fi. This requires (1) finding an open wi-fi network, (2) logging in to the network using DHCP, and (3) frantically trying to check your email or surf the web before the signal is lost.

Typically done quickly while at a stop light mostly out of curiousity and boredom and hopefully without picking up a virus (not unlike something one my try while visiting a brothel in Amsterdam).

I don't think that geek can ride the bus home without emailing Amsterdam. He needs to unplug.

Subject Line Emailing

Using email to text message by composing the email entirely in the subject line thereby bypassing the body of the email.

Dude Mike is always subject line emailing me and never responds to my replies since he is too cool to use the body of an email. Why doesn't he just text me?

Enabling

(verb) the action of sub-consciously getting a girl to fall in love with you. An enabler is extremely precise and strategically tactful. They will engage in constant texting, planning of casual dinners and RomCom date nights. An enabler does not limit himself to one target and will occupy his time in multiple engagements with girls often in the same group of friends.

After a girl is successfully enabled; the "enabler" becomes officially bored and will subsequently deploy the response mechanism known as disabling. A disabler will refuse to response to messages/calls and avoid social events where the "enablee" will be in attendance

Guy 1: Why are you so upset?
Guy 2: I've got to stop enabling these Melbourne girls. They get upset if I shower them in affection and then delete them from facebook after I'm bored
Guy1: You need to work on your disabling techniques man

enbabling

a term given to parents who treat their child like a baby rather than encouraging their child to make any form of progress

A twelve year old child twisted their ankle in P.E. Now the parent wants a note from the doctor stating the child can never participate in P.E. even though the child has completely healed. That parent is just enbabling the child.
