Used to describe physical size of a person relative to Derek; specifically meant to emphasize how muscular the person is. Obviously depending on the Derek and the current physical condition of said Derek, this definition has a very loose range of specificity.

James: Wow, you're doing 190 on the Pec Flys? I guess I momentarily forgot the definition of derenormous.

Transitive verb used to describe college students' deep aversion to thick, brick-sized textbooks that are expensive and a pain to lug around.
Meaning: to get rid of thick anthologies (such as the famed Norton Anthology) or brick-sized textbooks for a seminar; to remove big anthologies from the list of required textbooks for courses or exams.
Noun: denortonization
Antonym: nortonize. To use or recommend the use of thick anthologies for a course or exam.

1. The faculty is looking into ways to denortonize the curriculum.
2. It makes sense to denortonize now that we only offer seminars on individual authors.
3. How does one denortonize the exam when so many authors have to be covered?
