Complidiss

When someone gives you a compliment but counteracts it with a put-down.

An example of a complidiss-"You are so beautiful, but there is something extremely wrong with you."

compadrissimo

The highest order of compadre or amigo, a compardissimo is the paragon of a friend. Used in circumstances where a friend grits his teeth and takes a huge one for you. Compadrissimos are celebrated members of a brommunity, and should be revered.

Yo, John slept on the floor in the living room so I could have the night alone with Angela. He is a true compadrissimo.

Coming from the words, "compliment" and "diss", a person who can compliment and diss another person at the same time.

After he told me I was the prettiest, fat girl he ever met, I knew he was nothing more than a complidisser.

When creative professionals gather under the auspice of generating ideas, but really intend to bitch and moan about their jobs/workplaces/projects/colleagues.

complainstorming

Like brainstorming, except you list complaints about something, and then list the opposite of each complaint. Makes use of people's natural tendency to complain in a constructive way, in that you end up with a more complete picture of what you do want.

We tried brainstorming a solution to scheduling during holidays but only came up with the same old same old. So we switched to complainstorming, and came up with a dozen really good solutions.
