Bonzai

Defined as a mildly annoying prank, like moving someone's pencil case 3 inches to the left or putting a piece of paper labelled "Bonzai" in someone's backpack. Members can be involved in complex bonzai wars, where the two parties try to make like slightly more difficult for the other. It is frowned upon to involve a non-bonzaier in a bonzai war.

In a FPS game when you cook your grenade to the point where you end up blowing yourself up, and one or more of your opponents. It may be the ultimate sacrifice but few people expect you to commit suicide just to get a kill.

Bonzai skiing

Skiing when there isn't enough snow. Small tree, pine tree and plant tops (which look just like bonzai's) become apparent together with rocks. Generally bonzai skiing designates uggly snow skiing conditions.

Jim: How was the snow skiing last week?
Buddy: Very bad. Few snow, plenty of plants and rocks. Guess we had our share of Bonzai skiing.
