bedside rag

Usually an old t-shirt, this can be any textile material which is relatively absorbant. The rag is kept at your bedside and used to clean up the goo after you have finished your hand-loving. There are several methods which it is possible to use; goo into your hand and wipe;goo onto your stomach and wipe; or the most popular method is to rest the t-shirt on your stomach so you can goo straight onto it. The bedside rag lets you go to town without having to get up and clean yourself, so that you can sleep like a a dirty little baby.
"my mum found my bedside rag the other day, but i said it was an old art t-shirt which had gotten glue on it."

bedside manner

Refers to how well the doctor or nurse interacts with a reclining patient and makes him feel comfortable, reassured, and welcome at the hospital.
Extra points on a doctor/nurse's bedside manner if he/she is willing to actually climb in bed with the patient for a little while to soothe him and keep him company... snuggles/massages are usually expected; sex is optional but often gladly welcomed by the patient, who likely will then recommend the hospital to his friends for anytime they feel a need for "medical attention" themselves... a great way to keep the hospital-beds filled!! This "cuddles in exchange for praising the hospital" deal is a similar idea to a waiter/waitress's providing exemplary service to a diner-patron in hopes that said patron will give the staffperson a generous tip.
