assimilation by the Borg 

The habit of wearing a Bluetooth cell phone on one's ear at all times. Usually in reference to high-powered executive types, the first to develop this habit in earnest.

Reverse Assimilation 

The act of an individual, group or nation assimilating to the culture of immigrant populations rather than the immigrant populations assimilating to the culture of the host nation.
Guy 1. "When Abdul and his family moved into the street we thought they may like to join in and be a part of our community. Instead some of our liberal neighbors converted to Islam and now demonize what is left of our community."

Guy 2. "Yeah well, that's reverse assimilation for you.."

artificial assimilation 

The act of impregnating an animal by artificial means. Most commonly: Jacking off a willing animal and transporting its semen into an unwilling female animal of the same species.
Holy Shit Mark! Way to go on the artificial assimilation. That cow is as good as pregnant.

When someone adopts the language features of a dominant group, potentially losing aspects of their original urban dialect.

internet language assimilation 

The subconscious reaction with online chatters ,whom are speaking in different audible accents , to assimilate language which varies from their own and towards other accents. Different dialects of the English language can sometimes assimilate when groups or individuals meet in international chatrooms or media platforms.This occurs when there are commonalities and familiarization between people IE slang words used by American chatters such as DUDE and YALL become common words for all in the chatroom.
Internet language assimilation is a common but largely unrecognized phenomenon that all international voice chatters are guilty of.
