To be in a state of depression. Ones feeling of sadness and/or gloom.

Julie: "Hey Henry, what's wrong? You seem like you are in the dumps today!"

Henry: "I'm just yilked right now. Bree moved today and I'm gonna miss hangin' with her."

Julie: "Yeah, I know what you mean. It's not going to be the same without her being around."

Yakled

To be yakled.

The feeling of being surprised / taken aback by something that shouldn't be surprising.

Due to previous experience, something should be obvious, yet still manages to be surprising.
A word to use instead of the phrase: "I don't know why I'm surprised."

Yakled is mostly used in the cosplay community, but has recently become a part of the lgbtq+ community as well.

- The girl always gets chocolate ice cream, and despite the many flavors to choose from, her mother was yakled she chose chocolate.

- My friends have been flirting for a while, but I was still yakled when they got together.
