Williamsport

Williamsport, MD is a small town outside Hagerstown, MD reaching to the Potomac River. It's filled with proud rednecks, shamed river rats, and various other groups of people, none of whom ever find anything exciting to do but head into Hagerstown and cruise "The Dual" or Dual Highway. Also dubbed "Da Port," it is the other, better Williamsport, nowhere close to Filtydelphia. Although past teams at Williamsport High School have been strikingly better at football, the past few years have seen losing records, earning the reputation of "an easy win."

Williamsport (locally pronunced "Weamsport") ain't much, but I'd rather be from here than Hagersbush.

Williamsport, Pa

A medium-sized city in central Pennsylvania (10,000+ residents). In August, it's home to the LLWS and the population doubles for a few weeks while thousands of people tune in to ESPN to watch the games. The birthplace of Little League baseball, the sport that is usually the basis of every U.S. kids' childhood growing up.

"I played Little League baseball in my younger years."

"Really? Me too. I even went to the museum in Williamsport, Pa. It's pretty neat there, and if you go to one of the LLWS games, it's free!

Wee-ummz‐sport. A small town on your left river bank just past at Duck Island, coming down the Potomac on your float. Home of the river rats and wildcats and the founding area of steamers , the most desirable food at football games. This town strangely has its own accent not heard in the surrounding towns.
