Contrary to what most n00bs tell you, the UEG, not the UNSC is the main human government in the Halo games. Bungie doesn't talk about them much, but they appear to be a democracy lead by a board of leaders, one from each nation on earth. They are an evolution of the U.N, and for that reason, never seem to get anything done. The UNSC is the UEG's military branch, along with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) as their intelligence agency and the Colonial Military Administration acting a defensive force for the colonies, much like the modern day U.S National Guard. The UEG uses a currency called Credits, and has an enormous budget, seeing as how there are about 30 Billion taxpayers (prior to first contact at Harvest in 2525). Most of that budget goes toward colonization efforts, while another large portion goes to the UNSC, because those fancy ships like the Pillar of Autumn ain't cheap.

The frequency of dropping the poet and muse masks to reveal two humans who are simply tired of being lonely together. It’s the phone call that finally goes through because the ego has been silenced.
When a connection gets buried in codes and vibrations, the simplest way to break the static would be to stop the text-based metaphors entirely, ending of vibrational excuses and beginning the biological consistency.

This is a strange experience. Feels like you’ve taken the words from my heart and spoken them back from your perspective. It’s a confusing contradiction experiencing the same pain from opposite sides of the glass, shoutin same grievances into the void.
You talk about the shift from poetry to reality, yet this feels like a mirror of my own silent, unanswered efforts. I sent you "something" over 22 days ago...why didn't you accept it? And you say the ego is mine? If this is how you feel maybe we should swap roles for a day to see what the other sees? This has me questioning everything, wonderin if I’ve talked too much while we both feel unheard. Or maybe I’ve listened too little? But there hasn't been you, just silence.
