The List is essentially anything and everything you have been meaning to do. It can be anything from watching a certain TV show, Anime, Movie, reading a book/author.

Dude1: Dude have you seen Death Note?
Dude2: Nope. But its on The List. Somewhere between Sky Diving and reading The Stand by Stephen King.

The List 

Similar to the guest list at a club, 'The List' is a collection of names deemed worthy of one's social attention and time.

'The List' usually consists of people that are exactly the same as the list maker except for the skin they are wrapped in. Some lists are open to others provided they are willing to become a convert.

Mike: Chris is going to be cut from 'The List' if he doesn't step up and start worshipping me as much as I worship me.

Junior: Oh Man ! ! ! He just won't get with the program. I love me when I'm you, Mike!

in late 2023, when the Jeffrey Epstein's list of potential clients of his sex trafficking ring including women and underaged girls who were used in his properties and specially on his island was released to the public. People began talking and researching who's on the said list. the list is a number of famous politicians and celebrities who are mentioned; including past POTUS Bill Clinton, UK's prince Andrew, and many others specially from Hollywood.

They're saying that Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are in "The List".
