Awesome electropop band from London. Formed in 2003, current lineup is Maya Von Doll on vocals, Toni Sailor on guitar and Weston Doll on keyboard. Released their terrific debut album 'Ribbed Music For The Numb Generation' in 2007. Their songs "Stripper" and "I'm Not Cool" have appeared on Gossip Girl.

Sophomore Scruff

Sparse facial hair grown by high school students. Students reject the idea that they don't have a real beard and they grow out the sparse facial hairs making them look like an idiot.

Did you see John's sophomore scruff it looks like he glued pubic hair in random places on his face.

Sophomore

Someone who has successfully survived their freshmen yeah of high school. 9 times out of 10 absolutely hate freshmen even though three months ago they were freshmen themselves. This is usually because the now junior class was mean to them creating a never ending cycle of high school tradition and stupidity.

Last year she was so timid and shy....but now she's a sophomore.

sophomore year

The first legit year of high school. This is the year when you start to have a more authentic high school experience unlike freshman year. Most people are turning 16, you can get your license, get a job, and have a lot more independence overall. Classes are harder than the year before, more is expected of you. You kind of have to have some idea of what college you want to go to so you can a head start on requirements etc. despite all the hype of not being a freshman anymore, you're still not really an "upperclassmen" until junior year. unfortunately.

Freshman: "Eh, I hate being a freshman, it's boring and basically like 8th grade."

Sophomore: "It'll get better. Next year you can get your drivers license and stuff. sophomore year is where it's at."
