Partisan Sniping

A political tactic in which the most fervent or extremist member(s) of a politically-motivated group are singled out in a debate, in order to establish unfavorable contrast within said group.

The senate's health-care debate has, so far, been dominated by partisan sniping and finger-pointing; hence, they have made very little progress.

Skeet Sniping

The art of pulling out of a fuckhole (other than her face) seconds before busting a nut, and without changing positions, the skeet sniper acquires a target quickly and accurately spattering it with jizzum. Beginners tent to aim for the belly button or a nipple. Veteran shooters will target and take out an eye, nostril, specific tooth, the part in her hair, or combinations.

Skeet sniping advanced tactical maneuver:
Skeet sniper: "Ooooh, I'm gonna cum, ooooohhhhhhyyeaaaaaaaaaarraaarrrr!"
Random wench: "gnnaaachalchal" -gasp- "it went in my nose" -cough, cough- "and into my throat" -gag-
Skeet sniper:"BOOM, HEADSHOT!!"

Stream sniping

Stream sniping is when someone watches your stream to get an upper hand to essentially cheat against you in a game. For example, they could find your position on an open-world map, find out where your base is, or even find out when you're low on health, so they can ambush you. It sucks. The deveopers of Rust, Facepunch Studios... are (to my knowledge), the first game developers to build a preventative measure against it into their game. They call it Streamer Mode.

Hey, its Edward Longface again! Ahhhh!!! Why did he shoot at me?! He probably knew my plan. He must be stream sniping!

to follow a person who is streaming gameplay footage (usually on twitch or ustream) into the same games, using their stream to find and harass them (often for hilarious results.)

"Do a can crush for Jay Owens in 30 seconds or you will be shot.... Oh my god, it's the same guy! He's stream sniping me!"

Nerd Sniping

1. The act of presenting someone, often a mathematician/physicist with a time consuming problem or challenge (often impossible to solve or complete) in the hopes of it appealing to a person's obsessive tendencies.

2. Doing the thing above in a situation where the obsession may lead to bodily harm (in the original context on the middle of a road where they will get inevitably run-over by a truck).

1. The XKCD comic "Click and Drag" nerd sniped me! I never expected it to take so long to explore.

2. There's a certain type of brain that is easily disabled. If you show it an interesting problem it involuntarily drops everything else. This lead me to the development of a new sport: Nerd Sniping.

the act of bidding on an item on ebay literally seconds before the auction ends. This prevents anyone from outbidding you while also ensuring that you don't bump the price up too much.

rather than bidding early and inflate the price, Geraldo waited until the last couple seconds of the auction for the pimp cup he was bidding on before placing his bid. He succeeded in sniping the item.
