The Slants

The Slants are an Asian synth-pop band that have been melting faces off all over the country. Since the creation of the band, The Slants have toured the country five times, received press for turning down a million dollar recording contract, and were the first and only Asian band to be a Fender Music featured artist. These cross country tours included appearances at rock clubs, anime conventions, cultural festivals, and industry gatherings. Bassist and founder Simon Young explains, “Most of the people that find our name racist aren’t even Asian! We’re saying to the world ‘We’re proud of who we are, we aren’t going to hide it.’ In fact, our biggest support has been from the Asian community itself!" Vocalist Aron explains “We have a song called Sakura, Sakura where we take hateful rhymes about Asians and we turn them into a song about unity and being proud of our heritage.” (from theslants.com) The Slants have also released a second album, "Pageantry", which came out in 2010. This album features such songs as "How the Wicked Live". Currently, the band is in a conflict with the USPTO after attempting to trademark their name.

I saw The Slants live, and my face melted off. They rock so hard. The USPTO can suck it.

Slanty eye or epicanthic fold or epicanthal fold or epicanthus is a skin fold of the upper eyelid, covering the inner corner of the eye.

European ethnic groups that tend to have epicanthus relatively frequently are Scandinavians, Poles, Germans, the Irish and British.

Note: funny in its irony that whiteys make slanty eye an Asian trait when Europeans have it too.

Student: "Why do they call slanty eye an Asian eye trait when white people have it too like Scandinavians, Germans, British, Irish?"

Master: "Because they are too stupid and ignorant, literally. They don't know when they're insulting themselves. An educated person would know Europeans have slanty eye too."

slant pun

A slant pun is similar to a slant rhyme in that it is an imperfect pun. Basically it's when you make a kind of pun, but it's bad but you still want to count it as a pun

*looking at a picture of castle ruins that feature your friends*
"You kinda ruin the right side though, might wanna get that cropped out"
The word "ruin" would be the slant pun.

2: One who contributes to the slang dictionary in order to demonstrate what they feel is their own genius or superior intelligence. Such as one who uses "ME" to define the word mensan, resulting in their appearing ignorant to the very audience that they are attempting to impress.

1. The slangtard could not even spell "one" without leaving out a letter. He thought hipocrite was actually a word.

2. The slangtard attempts to use his entries to tell us he is a genious. He defined mensan as "me".
