To be "exiled" or banished from the dorm while it is being used by a roommate wanting privacy for (often overnight) sexual activity.
It is a common phenomenon at college, often done willingly by arrangement, which may include telltale signs to show the room is being used (i.e. a strategically placed sock or tie). A term in which college age students use to describe being exiled from their dorm or apartment when one of the roommates is engaging in sexual activity. This usually happens because the occupant does not want to be interrupted. A way in which to notify the roommate would be to hang a "You've Been Sexiled" hanger on the outside door handle of the residency.
