Sentry nest

A Sentry nest is a term used in the multiplayer online game: Team Fortress 2. The term refers to an area in which one or more players of the the Engineer class has set up their buildings, (primarily) the Sentry gun, Dispenser, and Teleporter in a way that it acts like a small base for their team to retreat to when they are in trouble. It is common behavior for the Engineer to "turtle" in the nest and not stray away from his buildings. This behavior can stem from a fear of enemies of the Spy class to place an Electro-Sapper on his buildings. These nests are commonly set up behind cover, with a corner for the Engineer to keep his back against to avoid being backstabbed by a Spy.

12th General Order of a Sentry

The 11 general orders refers to the Marine Corps guidlines for keeping watch during fire watch. Now only the Marine Corp has 11 however the Marines made one adition the 12th general order which is "To walk my post from flank to flank and take no shit from any rank"
so if a corporal is on guard and is instructed to let no one in for any reason and an officer demands entrance this is where the 12th General order of a Sentry comes into play, the corporal must tell the officer to leave and use force if neccessary, although under normal circumstances such an act would get the corporal demoted

Spy's sappin' mah sentry!

In the popular multiplayer shooter Team Fortress 2(tm) made by Valve(tm), spies are a nuisance. They run around, backstabs players and disguises as players. But above all else, they are SAPPIN' MAH SENTRY!

An engineer builds stuff. A spy saps the stuff the engineer builds, and utterly destroys it in a matter of seconds. Naturally, they are really annoying. The engineer thinks so as well. That's why he yells out "Spy's sappin' mah sentry" in pure fear and helplessness.

Also the inspiration to "spy's a spy!", created using digital soundboards.

The phrase is mostly used to describe a sense of fear, despair or pure hate when someone completely ruins whatever you're trying to accomplish.

The Navy, like the Marine Corps, has 11 published General Orders of a Sentry.

However, since the first orr dipped into the water, Sailors have been smart-asses, if you give us 11 refined General Orders, we will give you back a vulgar 12th.

The 12th General Order of a Sentry is:
To walk my beat and beat my meat and fuck everything with in 15ft,
And Sir/Ma'am you are too fucking close!
