This word has several slang meanings. They are:
1) To engage in casual sex with someone.
2) To give someone a dirty look (In London at least).
3) To give someone a poor deal.
Because of this, a sentence like "he screwed me" can be somewhat ambiguous and so context is important.

1) She's such a slut, she screwed Billy the other night and Davey the night before.
2) So we broke up on Monday and then when he walked past me yesterday he screwed me and I just flipped out.
3) So I just wanted to buy those chocolate chip cookies because they are the best thing on this Earth but oh my god that guy in the shop screwed me over so much, I mean since when did five little cookies in a packet cost so much? I swear they were one pound yesterday and now they're like four pounds, almost.

SCREW is a visual kei band that has been gaining popularity in the scene. They are known for their heavy sound and energetic, interesting stage shows, especially from their vocalist Byo who likes to get intimate with everything he can find on stage.
In March 2006, SCREW was formed by vocalist Byo and bassist Yuto, who were both members of JOKER. They were soon joined by guitarist kazuki of Clover, and Jin from LiViNg DEAD.
They started off playing secret lives and their first one-man concert was held at Takadanobaba AREA on April 23. Their first mini-album, Nanairo no Reienka, was released in July that same year and it was limited to 2000 copies.
Several concerts were held and three maxi-singles were released later in the year, and to finish off 2006 they were invited to be a part of the Winter Romantic Fes.3days「X-day」 event organized by Kanoma (ex-Fatima) and KAMIJO (Versailles).
2007 began with more concerts and in March they released a full length album which they called Fusion of the core. Shortly after its release, the band kicked off their one-man tour, LIMITED FUSION. By May, change came to SCREW as the band left Speed Disk Records and signed onto indie PSC and their support guitarist, Manabu transitioned to an official member of the band.
SCREW continued their hefty touring schedule through the summer, with several dates monthly. The fall was greeted with the release of two mini-albums, VENOM and VIRUS, which were released a month apart. In December, the band wrapped up the end of the year with their first overseas event in Germany.
2008 brought a steady stream of activity for SCREW who began to tour again during the second week of January and released a new maxi-single the following month. In April, the band celebrated their two year anniversary, holding a one-man at the venue of their birth, Takandanobaba AREA. The rest of the year remained just as busy with two more singles hitting store shelves and a steady live schedule.
SCREW welcomed the new year with their winter 2009 tour, Double Suicide in Five Cities which began in January. After wrapping up this event they resumed touring in Feburary, and by April, saw the release of their mini album, RACIAL MIXTURE. On April 26, the band celebrated their third anniversary at Liquid Room Ebisu.

Oddly, many remember this expression as a term used in describing music i.e. This is screwed music, or this tune is screwed... without realizing the basis of it.
In the 'old days' mechanical turntables were used to 'play' 'records'. These had an adjustment screw which allowed one to set its rotation speed to a calibrated reference, to maintain 'high fidelity', (usually a radial pattern was put on the turntable and a 60 hz lamp made a standing wave pattern which visually allowed a user to synch the speed to the lamp). The 'screw' which was actual a 'bolt', would move an internal cone, and attachment to the spindle of the drive motor, and there a transfer wheel rubbing on the inside of the bottom of the turntable wheel, would press on it. Thus turning the screw, forced the transfer wheel to locate itself along a different conic radius, spinning the record at a different speed.
As the 'art' of 'playing a record' evolved, the use of this 'screw' to imply a taste onto the record playback, through its speed, became popular. Some turntables were later offered with servo (electromechanical) screws, so that speed modification, could be encoded and programmed, for repeatable shows. It was first merely a technology, which turned to art, and then converted to an appreciation of the result, which made this term popular... then, the term... became separated and self standing as slang.
