As defined by Blizzard Entertainment: "Soon" does not imply any particular date, time, decade, century, or millennia in the past, present, and certainly not the future. "Soon" shall make no contract or warranty between Blizzard Entertainment and the end user. "Soon" will arrive some day, Blizzard does guarantee that "soon" will be here before the end of time. Maybe. Do not make plans based on "soon" as Blizzard will not be liable for any misuse, use, or even casual glancing at "soon."

Usually used by artists/bands to tease their fans when they were asked about something. Either means 'in about 3 days' or '6 months.' For example, when asked about a music video, tour, and announcement release, these artists tend to only know this word.

A common word said by executives from Polyphony Digital, the developer behind the highly successful Gran Turismo series of video games when asked about a release date of their next game. Series creator Kazunori Yamauchi, creator of the series often says the word when asked for a release date. The word, 'soon' usually means coming within a small time-frame but it is the total opposite when said by Polyphony Digital and Kazunori Yamauchi.
