This game takes your life away. It makes you skip church, homework, keep from your family/friends, make other family members or friends play it, skip meals, stay up late, get less sleep, get fired from work, be late to school, find excuses to stay home, when your parents are gone and your not allowed to play you play anyway, if your married you pay more attention to training your woodcutting and dragon slaying then your soulmate, holding your piss and crap until the last minute, occasionally wears things in real life that are similar to the game, buying things from the jagex store, not brushing your teeth, not eating at the dinner table with your family, scarf down that food extra quickly to be able to play again, Gaining weight, always having the urge to come and play games, trying to quit only to find that its harder to quit then stop doing drugs, and starting to live off your instinct, you will also like it darker in your room. Don't even think about quitting cold turkey, then your basically boned up the ass. You'll be back sometime that week.

Basically the thing that ruins lives. RuneScape is an MMORPG made by Jagex where you complete quests, play games, and level up your skills to a maximum level of 99. Many people say that RuneScape is nothing compared to WoW, but that's because RuneScape is free. Players can also subscribe to the premium parts of RuneScape, also known as the Member's Zone. The MZ is almost 3X as big as the free zone, has more skills, and more quests. I recommend playing it, but in little doses, because it can be highly addicting. If you want an MMO that you can play for free or pay just a little per month, this is a game that you would like, but you have to get play it for about a year or so to fully appreciate it.

A okay game at first its really exciting but after a while you'll still like it and play it but not as much. mostly when you're boared and have nothing to do. You shuldn't play it unless you have a decent amount of friends because it will lessen you're interests in finding new friends to hang with when your boared.
if you have nothing better to do than play video games your best choice is to play runescape because you'll never be boared

RuneScape (unplurable noun), It's an addictive (as so many of you urban scholars have stated, over and over) MMORPG, its set in celtic-medievil (that sort of period) time. Over a million people play on it… REGUARLY! It’s got a chat service on it. Strict rules too…
It's got over 20 skills, including, mining, smith, magic etc. Everything a young teenager/ 10 years old + would want; a fantasy world with little men, who try to better each other over each other in the, 'wilderness' or the popular slang, a the 'wildy'(pronuctuation key: Will-Dee).
People's lives can become consumed by its influence and people can't stop talking about it, but along holiday can help you.

The game is programmed in Java, although Jagex have developed their own scripting language, 'RuneScript', to aid in the game's development. It is mostly played for free, but can be payed for (for extra places to go and things to do), and has almost 10 million registered users play on it weekly.
Runescape is based on the idea of building skills and gaining experience to rise in ranks and explore the world. Like most MMORPGs, you can kill monsters, do quests and make money.

It will rape your soul and torture it. It will zombify your brain with its unrealistic and somewhat godly hypnotic powers. It will turn you into a mindless no lifer nerd. When playing RuneScape one will be helplessly absorbed into its virtual world. Its incredible addiction powers prohibit your eyes from directing away from the screen. You will not stop playing for weeks, maybe months.
Never consider playing RuneScape. If you have started already, you will notice some horrific symptons occurring. Your butt cheeks will be permenantly engraved onto your chair, as mouse grooves will be permenantly engraved onto your palm. You will become allergic to sunlight. You will not give a shit about any worldly affairs that is going on. When you are not playing RuneScape, you will begin to notice that you can't stop fantazising about the game. You will have no friends and will be called a nerd or bitch wherever you go. You will feel extremely depressed and have a sudden urge to suicide.
