A word made up by the Japanese people to describe who-knows-what.
It is also used in slang by English-speaking people to describe the science of being a tourist, either in reference to oneself or a tourist to one's home nation.

1) Japanese Travel Guide: "And to your right is the Center for Silk Roadology!"
English-speaking Tourist: "...What the hell?"

2) "Roadology is a fine science, my friend. I mean, wearing fanny packs and falling into every tourist trap you see is something that is learned with years of study."

Rascology

(n.) The art and practice of confidently spouting opinions on a complex subject, philosophy, or political theory while completely misunderstanding or ignoring its true meaning and intent.

It's when a person twists a deep concept to fit their own agenda or ego, presenting their flawed take as expert knowledge. It’s the engine that powers pseudo-intellectualism.
