A Ploom is an animal with a lot of feathers. It’s the feathery version of a Floof, which is an animal that has a lot of fur. Ploom comes from the French word “plume”, meaning “feather”.

Someone: *points at a bird* Wow, look at that Ploom! It’s so ploomy and colorful!
