Pixelface

Generic term for computer screen based life/experience.
Similar to the term 'Chalkface' used by teachers and educators, which in turn derived from the term 'Coalface' as used by miners.
First coined on the "Poor Attitude' blog.

pixelante

Originally, a term coined by Jack Thompson, referring to members of the internet-based gaming subculture who have taken it upon themselves to take action against him for his harassment of Mike Krahulik, the artist from the webcomic Penny Arcade.

The term has since been reclaimed by two designers at Straight Loop, who have made a tshirt design based on the word.

"Several weeks ago some gamer idiot (sorry to be redundant) managed to email me thousands of death threats from a blast e-mail service based in Ireland using the following e-mail address: [e-mail]. The Secret Service shut that pixelante right down."

When i saw Geogre this morning he seemed to have a pixeltan and still was holding a mousemat in his hand.

Pixellurgy

pix·el·lur·gy ,n.

1.e science that deals with procedures used in extracting pixels from their ores,
purifying and alloying pixels and creating useful objects from pixels.

2.The study of pixels and their properties in bulk and at the atomic level.

Extractive pixellurgy is the practice of separating pixels from their ore, and refining them into a pure pixel.
