To be zoned out, caused by using your cell phone.

My friend was driving me to work yesterday and got phoned out at a stop light, we sat there for 10 seconds after it changed to green before he snapped out of it.

The leftover foundation thats stuck on your screen after a conversation where the phone has been pressed against the cheek. Often seen on touch phones, since they have a larger screen.

Emma: EEEEUUUW! Whats that brown gunk on your screen?!

Johanna: Aaah, thats just some phonedation after my conversation with Peter.

Emma: Damn, he's hot!

Phonecuffed

A metaphor that describes the physical appearance of being handcuffed by holding ones cell phone in both hands. The result of overuse of ones cell phone causing one to appear to be handcuffed without wearing handcuffs but physically restricted as if they were actually wearing handcuffs.

My son spent all day phonecuffed and now he is behind on his chores.

The act of dialling a number, allowing it to ring for just long enough for the person to get their phone in their hand, and then hanging up, forcing them to have to call you back and spend their own money/credit on the call.

"Yeah if you want me, just give me a Jewish phonecall and I'll get you back."
