Ford Prefect

A car made by the British division of the Ford Motor Company, built between 1938-1959 (not including the period of World War 2). It was basically a four door version of the sit up and beg Ford Popular, which like its two-door counterpart, is popular on the hot rod circuit since the 1960's. It was lightweight, rear wheel drive and mechanically simple.

The Second incarnation was the 100E, which bore a resemblance to scaled down 1955 Chevrolet. A more advanced design that used a monocoque construction and a McPherson Strut front suspension. However, it still used the outdated flathead (sidevalve) engine that was in production until the early 1960's. It was replaced by the Ford Anglia 105E in 1959.

Trivia: The car gave Douglas Adams the inspiration for the character of the same name in Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy .

Perfect Girl

A perfect girl is the same as a regular girl but with equal parts sweet and dry vermouth (a martini typically uses dry vermouth and a Manhattan typically uses the sweet but the perfect Manhattan or perfect martini uses both).

Girl: I’m here. I got the vermouth but I didn’t know if you were making martinis or Manhattans so I picked up a bottle of each.
Boyfriend: Well aren’t you the perfect girl.

Perfect Cell

Cell or Bio-Android Cell is one of the main antagonists of the famous anime Dragon Ball Z. He was created by Dr Gero. He is perfect, but Gohan still killed him.

perfection abuse

Demanding a level of commitment from someone in a relationship, as if they should have read your mind. A way of keeping someone focused on their own faults, keeping you safe and secure from reproach.

With my girlfriend, not only did I have to remember all the holidays and what we did and wore that day, I had to remember everthing we said to each other and know what kind of gift she wanted and how I was supposed to present them to her. What a perfection abuse hell I had to live through!!
