Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period

The period of time from the point of submission of an Urban Dictionary definition until the point when the submission is either approved for publication or the definition is rejected and not published. The Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period can take from minutes to hours or it can take up to several weeks end. There is no explaination for the time variance nor is there a way to determine what the actual definition gestation period will be.

The gestation period for the birth of a human being is far more predictable and accurate than the Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period.

While he is an Urban Dictionary submission pro, he has yet to figure out why the Urban Dictionary Definition Gestation Period is so unpredictable and takes up to several weeks on end for editorial review.

Performance activism

When someone uses a “woke” cause to ensure their social media following knows that they care... when actually, all they care about is their influencer status and the amount of like they’ll get.

“Hey, have you seen that Guy is constantly posting about this cause on his feed?”

Performance Punishment

Due to a high level of motivation and repeat successes you are selected by your superiors to do more work than your peers because you do your job and good at it. This frequently entails extra hours, multitasking, et cetera. The punishment is that you get to watch the underperformer, who is not doing their job, get rewarded via time off, free time, leave work on time and so on. This is common in the military, other government jobs, or large corporations where, due to bureaucracy, it is difficult to get rid of a bad employee.

Sean isn't a workaholic or a brown nose. Since his coworker Steve does nothing all day long, Sean's performance punishment is that he always has to stay late and take on extra projects to make up for Steve.

Learned a new phrase: "Performative Wokeness."

People who more concerned with self-promotion, social media "likes", or selling books & lectures; than they are about Actual Deliverables.

People thought Tina cared about labor issues, considering how much she Tweeted about it, but it was all performative wokeness - she had no problems crossing picket-lines if the business offered a sale.

Her boyfriend bought her chocolate, she the whole bag without saying a thanks. Her friends run from her, scared she will snap. Her glare says it all, and the stain on pants proves it. Suzy’s uterus isn’t happy, it wants a child. But Suzy’s uterus doesn’t know that at 14 if she got pregnant that would ultimately ruin her life. She would be working 2 jobs to feed her kid after her parents kicked her out , she lives in a dirty apartment, and is addicted to drugs for her sorrows drown her.

Don’t give in to the uterus kids.

Stay in school.
