Similar to OG (original gangster), OV means "original viral", meaning it was "viral" before "viral" was "viral". For example, giving away free hamburgers may attract a long line down the street; the line attracts more people who see it and thus becomes viral. You can turn to your friend and say "Free sandwiches are OV."
