A) Noun. The final alcoholic beverage one consumes before losing consciousness. Usually associated with irrational exuberance and unwarranted confidence. After ingesting a nappetizer, most details of the evening must later be forensically reconstructed with the help of friends, as recall is impaired significantly.

B) Noun. A nightcap.

A form of rest shorter than a nap – never longer than 20 minutes – that occurs late in the day but still a few hours before actually going to sleep for the night.

I was really tired and it was only 8pm but I wanted to stay up until at least 2am, so I decided to take a nappetizer for 10 minutes.
