Often it involves foam swords and medieval style battle, but can also include any activity where the players dress up and pretend to be someone they are not. For example, dressing up with your friends to draft players in your fantasy league is considered larping.
Even though were not larping to D&D , we dressed up and pretended to be someone else. Its still larping.
