jobber rotation

Term used in fantasy baseball. It is the act of picking up starting pitchers (and then dropping them for a new one) in an effort to win the strikeout and wins categories. Usually pitchers available on the waiver wire aren't very good, hence rotating through jobbers.

I'm down 3-1 in wins and 35-20 in strikeouts. Guess I'll have to do a serious jobber rotation the next few days.

Glorified Jobber

A wrestling term that a wrestler who beat jobbers, was beaten in turn by other wrestlers.

Sasha Banks and Bayley were examples of Glorified Jobbers. They beat up jobbers, then get beat up by others.

Indy jobber

An indy jobber is usually a vanilla midget without charisma or personality. They don't look like WWE superstars, they can't cut a promo, they can't act, they are not larger than life ,they are boring. They only care about their in-ring workrate because they have nothing else to offer.

- A real WWE fan would say : "Johnny Boregano, Ricoshit and Adam Tool are garbage. Typical indy jobbers."
