An "anonymous" mode for various search engines that in reality does not do shit to hide whatever horrible shit you're looking up.
"Hey, Google. About Incognito Mode..."
.....
"Why is it called 'Incognito' Mode if my Internet service provider can still see it?"
.....
"What if someone I know is an Internet service provider? That's sure pretty anonymous."
....
"No comment. Exactly."

Similar to "to be honest" or "on the low," a way to preface your potentially divisive claim that you do not want repeated.

Incognito mode was made so many 13 year olds around the world have access to PornHub without getting called out by their mom. This is found in Google Chrome.

Incognito Mode is a feature on Google Chrome that hides any browsing history and only keeps browser data for that session. For this reason, people commonly use it for consuming pornography online, or to look up anything they would be embarrassed to have other users of a device find out about; however, even if you use any form of private browsing, regardless of what browser you use, your internet service provider (ISP) can still view your activity, and your internet protocol (IP) address is still visible to the websites you visit. For this reason, it is recommended that you also use a virtual private network (VPN) for extra privacy.
I use Incognito Mode on Google Chrome to watch YouTube videos that I would be embarrassed to have anybody else who might have to use my phone, or computer, to find out that I watch, mostly Virtual YouTubers (Vtubers) and anime clips.
