To give instructions to sports teams or individual players on sports teams in the assumption they can hear you and will comply with your instructions.

Every time my Dad watches sports, he fictates by yelling things at the players like "aaaaaaahhhhh behind you" or "shoot the puck" and the ever present "what are you doing?!"
