The space between a wall and something else, too small for your hand to reach and grab it.

The origin: my nephews had their (guys) stuffed animals and toys on their bunk beds and when one would fall between the wall and the bed, “ my guys fell in the dunction”

While in the car: “My French fries fell in the dunction” (space between console & seat)
In bed: “my phone fell in the dunction “
