Due South

An awesome 90's Canadian TV show about a Mountie in Chicago who's friends with a deaf half-wolf and Chicago cop Ray Vecchio, and who talks to his dead father. Very Pythonesque in nature, the series ran for four seasons and starred Paul Gross, David Marciano, and Callum Keith Rennie. Canadian actor Leslie Nielsen was a frequent guest star as well.

due time

A time that isn't now, but then again isn't later, it is a time possibly in another universe, a time that is not even know by the person using the word. Typically used to refer to the time at which a friend will pay you back the money you lent him.

Hey buddy, do you have that money i lent you?
No, not now but i will have it in due time.
(meanwhile showing no apparent sacrifice in his own lifestyle in order to pay you back in your lifetime)

due Google diligence

Like due diligence, using Google. Due Google diligence should always be done before asking questions in a public forum. Otherwise, people may reply with "Just Google it" or links to lmgtfy.com.

"Due diligence" is a legal expression that means making the effort, in terms of research and investigation, to meet the expected (due) level of "care and caution" before entering into a legal agreement with a person or company.

When you have a problem or a question, "due Google diligence" means using Google to search for relevant keywords to find the solution before asking the question in a public forum and wasting everyone's time by asking a question that has been answered many times before.

Poster: Hi, I need help with xxxx. I've done due Google diligence and I couldn't find a solution to my problem.

Due Date Theory

A theory that states that the term "due date" was meant to be "do date"; you do your work on that day. The definition was simply diluted over the years.
