When someone is intending to leave a room/building and is standing in the doorway but stops to have a long conversation with someone else.

"I'm gonna go take a shower, alright?"
"okay, but before you go, have you heard of ___?"
"Oh, what's that?"

"oh, I was gonna take a shower. I guess it's the doorway curse"

Man, I'm tired of constantly putting the salad inside the fridge due to experiencing doorway effect on my way to the fridge.

Doorway Mob'n

1.) Is used to describe the action of a male friend or female friend that while under the influence of alcohol, or other substance that would be considered a "downer" will get inconveniently stuck under the archway or doorframe in the most usedand or populated threshold, hallway, building or establishment.

Although, it provides something to hold your door up, it will also hold up your best friend when he or she is about to nod off unconscious or just needed support the alcohol thats turning in thier stomachs.
