A person suffering from an abnormal fear of being closed in or of being in a confined space while having irregular bowel movements in which the feces are dry and hardened and evacuation is difficult and infrequent.

Philip’s claustropation started to kick in when he found himself trapped in a well after eating an entire block of cheese.
