An adjective to describe a style of dress mainly for women. It is a mix between hood/gangster and sophisticated/elegant.

Brit: I'm excited for this Beyoncé concert...
Andrea: Me too!! How are you dressing?
Brit: I'm thinking, thug chic... You know? I want be a little hood but look good doing it. I'm even going to wear a choker.
Andrea: OMG! We gotta get a choker!

bi-chic

A person who claims to be bisexual, but only because it is hip or chic to be so. More common among women than men. Most bi-chic girls engage in a lot of kissing/making out, fondling, etc. (especially in public), but never actually engage in cunnilingus with another woman and never actually have long term bisexual/lesbian relationships.

Kelly says she's bi, but she refuses to go to that lesbian bar and she has never actually dated another girl, all she does is make out with them when she's drunk.

She ain't bi, she's bi-chic!

A phrase from the 1996 song "I Want You" by Savage Garden. This phrase may have made some people refer to this song as the "Chic a Cherry Cola Song," because this incredible song was sung at such a fast pace, few people can keep up with the lyrics. It is pure '90s, and pure awesomeness.

heroin chic

the look that was popular in the 90s and is coming back now. being waif skinny, pale, tired and sickly looking, using cigarette smoke as perfume, lanky, and wearing clothes that hang off your emaciated body will give you the 'heroin chic' look. you are supposed to look like you have been up for the past week partying and you are worn out (but in a cool way). there was a lot of public outcry about this look saying it encouraged children to try drugs and saying drugs were cool.

when i stay up all night and come to school in the morning i look heroin chic.
