Negro Wake Up Call

When a black person, usually an entertainer or celebrity of some sort, finally realizes that mainstream (white) media will never see them as anything but black and that as soon as it finds a way to rob them of the recognition that they deserve, it will exploit it to the fullest.

A black person who finally understands that we do not live in a post-racial society, usually by experiencing the effects of covert and overt racism first hand.

Something that eventually happens to a new black.

Beyonce finally got her Negro Wake Up Call when she got thrown into the "Urban Contemporary" category at the Grammy's.

Oklahoma Wake-up Call

If you have a roommate that snores and keeps you awake, and you decide to take action, this is what you should do. You first start by straddling your roommate and squatting over their face, gingerly resting your testicles over each nostril. Then spread your ass cheeks and wait patiently for your roommate to wake-up due to lack of air. Once they have awaken you proceed to shit all over their face.

bake up call

Requesting a hotel, typically a motel, to call you at a certain time to remind you to smoke the doobage. Essentially a wake up call for stoners.

My roommate Carson used to set the alarm clock to wake him up for a smoke session early in the am, aka wake n bake, so much so that when he travelled and was too high to figure out how to set the alarm clock in a hotel, he'd call the front desk and request a bake up call. Typically at 4:20am.
