“Bossing” derives from the consumption of an obscene amount of alcohol (usually 7-8 shots) consumed in one oversized shot glass. The intention of the action can be two-fold: One being the annihilation of any disturbing memories inflicted upon the individual by “The Boss,” any other person who has authority over the individual; the other being to easily facilitate the catching up the alcohol content of an individual who arrives tardy to a party.

If one is told that they are cole bossing, they have achieved the maximum level of recognition that one can receive. It is essentially girl bossing, but monumentally better. It can of course be used more casually to just say that one is an awesome person, but overall cole boss is the highest of compliments.
