A bet in which nothing is wagered. The winner recieves nothing but respect.

Guy A: There's no way you're winning this one.
Guy B: Wanna bet?
Guy A: Yeah! It's on!
Guy B: Eat shit because i just won.
Guy A: Well we didn't bet shit so I guess it was a gentleman's bet.

Gurly Bet

Name giving to a small or weak bet in a hand of holdem poker, allowing another person to see another card which in turn lets the caller win the hand on the river or "suckout" a win

Quit your crying Mr Hellmuth! If you would of made a normal 3xbb bet's, instead of that Gurly Bet i probably would of folded my hand and never would of seen those last 2 cards and knock you out of the W.S.O.P.
