Wire rims with 30 spokes sold as an upgrade on a 1984 cadillac. The center hub pokes out 8 inches sideways from the outside of the rim. Commonly used by high profile coke dealers on the grind as a status symbol, because of their distinctive appearance, and because 84 refers to 3 ounces(84 grams). 83s are also popular in this context (only difference is they poke out less) and the number 83 refers to 1/12th of a kilo of coke, a common unit of measurement (83.33333 grams) for sale ($1500-2000+)

swangaz, 84's, are actually 1984 Cadillac spoke rims, just as 83's are 1983 Cadillac rims. 84 is NOT the number of the spokes. these rims are much immitated, but these are the only REAL swangaz... and yes, a lot of cars will need adapters if they dont have the same lug pattern as the 'Lac...

These are the 30 spoke wire wheels that were a very rarely chosen upgrade option avail. on 1983, 1984 FWD Cadillac Eldorado's and made by Cragar wire wheels for a very short time period, hence the terms 83's, 84's, which denotes their model year made..the 84's are the most sought after and the outward spokes "poke" out the farthest of any from the vehicle wheel well, as in the spokes actually extend outwards beyond the profile of the car for a really smooth sitting & unique gangster look, now that these wheels are very hard to find and very expensive people are calling just about every 30 spoke set of wheels "84's" and swangas, elbows, etc. In reality these others do not really poke at all and are just the standard issue 30 spoke cragar "starwire" wheels which are easy to get and made for RWD cars as well...not the ones made for the cadillac FWD eldorados that everyone is looking for...these old originals run about 5k-10k+ for a good clean set and are ultra hard to find anywhere..if you have seen a REAL set of 84's pokin' then you know the difference is HUGE! You can find the regular non "poking" 30's made by cragar on ebay for around $500-$1500 a set depending on the size, gold/chrome, condition, etc.
The 1984 FWD Cadillac Eldorado was available with an optional set of 4 non-standard 30 spoke wire wheels that were made by Cragar Wire Wheels Inc. and had 30 thick and wheel well protruding spokes, known widely as 84's today amoung the hip-hop culture and very hard to obtain or find in good condition if any.

A rim that came stock on a 1984 Cadallac. It was a spoked rim, similar to a Dayton. Very desirable rim these days, especially within the southern hip-hop community. Can be widley seen in the Mike Jones video for, "Still Tippin"

Our heroine battled to leave Belfast on time, managing to evade pretentious easyJet airport staff on minimum wage to ultimately face the iceberg that was Stansted Airport Security delays.
Better boob than Baywatch:
Our angel battled her way from the back of the aircraft, cussing at stewardesses and pushing elderly people aside. She launched herself on to the tarmac and ran, her tittage bouncing in a way that made Pamela Anderson look like an malnourished choir boy.
The sad bit:
He saw her and was filled with emotion. The hopelessness of seeing his sweetheart so close, yet so cruelly far as she pushed disabled children from her way. His numerous attempts to bribe Ryanair officials to stall the connecting flight had failed. Would he board the Berlin flight alone?
More ballsy than Bourne or Bond:
Seeing her opportunity our leading lady ducked into a side corridor, her heart pounding as Gate 84 came to view. She banged at the door, the only barrier remaining between her and her lover. As it unlocked she burst through, her magnificent dump truck firing on all cylinders.
Not Casablanca:
She saw him at the window looking forlorn; she had made it against all odds. She lightly tapped him on the arm and he turned to look at her.... "How?" he exclaimed, his despondency replaced by surrealism as he poked her in the forehead to make sure she was real. They embraced, nothing was ever going to keep these lovers apart.

Susie and Stuart boarded the flight to Berlin together, hand in hand (and ignoring the connecting flight delay due to ice on the wings that probably made the whole story of Gate 84 superfluous). To celebrate their reunification, he got her drunk on Jack Daniels from the inflight trolley and, on landing, banged her like a screen door in a hurricane.
