Joke Minimum

A set level of joke quality that must be met, to the terms of the receiver of the joke. If this minimum is not met, it is punishible, by money, light slaps, or any other form of mild punishment.

Person 2 " That's a slap that violated the joke minimum."

Smoke and Joke

How junior enlisted while away their service time: smoking cigarettes and joking around with each other. Typically done in small groups when on break, standing post, or at quarters.

See those embassy guards standing post at the gate? They smoke cigarettes and bullshit all day. Smoke and joke. Most of them will never make rank.
