People who areeither very interested in and excited for the promises and achievments of the field of Artificial Intelligence or people who are involved in the field of Artificial Intelligence and its community. Techno-optimists, people with pro-AI and pro-transhumanist views and beliefs. Opposite of Luddites, anprims or anti-technologists.

Artificial Intellgience includes such subfields as Machine Learning, Neural Networks, Evolutionary Computation, Vision, Robotics, Expert Systems, Speech Processing, Natural Language Processing, and Planning.

AI bros are really excited about the new LLM model that just came out.

Dude-bro

A term referring to the sexually frustrated and socially incapable young males who all wear the same style of clothes, stalk the same females, and repeatedly talk in gay voices to eachother. It is generally very easy to spot a dude-bro, if you hear the word 'gay' or 'faggot' used in a derogatory way, look for a sideways hat or a Thirsty Thursday shirt(or collared shirt) and you will see a dude-bro.

Me: "Those guys just said Broken Social Scene is gay."
Fellow Intellectual: "But Broken Social Scene is the greatest band ever!"
Me: "Yeah, they must be dude-bros."

A night where a bunch of dudes culminate the drinking and fucking around by all crashing at one bro's house. Usually in the basement, under inadequate blankets. There will be farting and swearing and crude jokes. It is likely that a movie will be put on so that everyone can fall asleep within the first ten minutes. Explicitly for bros, if there is a chick present it's not a bro over.

Guy 1: Yo dude, can I crash at yours tonight?

Guy 2: Ya same.

Guy 3: Sure! We'll have a bro over.
