Pinocchio Hipster

Someone who is in the state of being "basic", or is classified as such, yet longs to be a "hipster." Like Pinocchio longed to be a real boy, these Pinocchio-Hipsters long to be real hipsters. Yet no matter how hard they try, how hard they grunge, or how tight their jeans are... they are doomed to be "basic," forever.

Cate longed to become hipster, but she was basic to the core. Like a giraffe in a duck costume, this Pinocchio Hipster wasn't fooling anyone.

Roots Hipster

A type of hipster that is typically interested in traditional folk and country music, with the emphasis being traditional! They tend to show a disdain for indie folk and related genres which they claim only corrupt the genre's purity. Also Roots Hipsters tend dress in clothes that were popular at the turn of the 20th century in the style of the day as opposed to the so called individualistic twists of regular hipsters. In conclusion Roots Hipsters tend to dislike regular hipsters because their belief that regular hipsters don't know what real culture is and couldn't appreciate it if they did.

Johnny " Hey did you hear, Mumford and Sons is coming to town? You should take Joe, he's a total hipster." A reverse hipster hipster is much like a reverse hipster, if a reverse hipster was actually a hipster, if that makes sense, they simply express unpopular opinions as an attempt to look cool and different, but then suggests that people who disagree with him are in fact the hipsters, they're basically hipsters who are in denial.

"Minecraft sucks only hipsters like it" says a Reverse Hipster Hipster, this makes him a Reverse Hipster Hipster because he is expressing an unpopular opinion to look cool and different, but at the same time suggests that the ones who disagree with him are the hipsters.

busted hipster

A busted hipster is a hipster that can no longer function in their element as being "hip." They have either consumed so many drugs that they don't even identify as human anymore or the bright colors they stare at all day made them crazy. Busted hipsters no longer fall into the realm of tacky tattoos or super tight pants, but instead join the mass of confused "hippies" that have smoked themselves stupid.

Look at Mike, those tacky tattoos and shades for sure represent a busted hipster.
