let-out

The gathering of people outside directly after an event ends.

The event can be a cook out, a bbq, a club, a bar, church, a fashion show, etc...

Everyone just mulls around trying to find the next move, when really the next move is mulling around. Almost like the after party, outside of the venue.

The bar was so packed and everyone still so energetic that the let-out when it closed was more fun.

The girl had on a costume/outfit ten times sillier than anyone else at the party, but at least she got noticed by never looking plain. She thought life was too short to be ignored, so she always put in more effort to stand out than others.

Sell outs

The act of changing yourself, your intrests, or everything about you to fit the majority. This can be applied to alot of things. Such as a good friend leaving you out to dry for personnal gains, or a music group changing their own style to sell records.

To abandon what is really you just so you can be "cool" in the eyes of everyone else.

My friends (sell outs): Hey lets go dress up in pink Polos and short khaki shorts and sperries and spend all our money on crown royal and take Daddy's BMW and go hang out with all those real rich preppy kids from school so we can be awesome and just maybe get laid from a couple of town bikes
