It kinda like and oxymoron. It’s what girls say when a guy that likes you and you like them says something so sweet and kind. That’s makes you smile and blush. But you can’t have the guy. So instead of saying I love you, you say, I hate you.

It kinda like an oxymoron. It’s when a guy that likes you and a girl that likes you. When the guy says something sweet, cute, kind, or nice. And you are blushing and smiling. The girl would say I hate you. Because you know you can’t have the guy. Because he may be dating someone.

A playful twist to the popular late 2000s motivational slogan "live laugh love". The cynicist connotation behind this phrase is often used to as a protection mechanism disguise one's affection towards others.
Especially used among teenage girls (such as a specific person from a school) from 14-16, they use "live laugh hate" interchangeably as SOS. After one becomes addicted to this vocab, they drop it at random inappropriate times.
As soon as one turns 17, they go out of the hatred phase and stop using "live laugh hate" but go along with the Gen-beta phrase of "Live laugh necessito ayudar".
