Mouse party

A celebration by subordinates on the occasion of their supervisor's absence. Usually applied to office workers, but relevant to any mischievous celebration orchestrated by peers answerable to a common individual.

Borrowing from the phrase 'when the cat's away, the mice will play', a mouse party might be celebrated by a team of employees taking a two-and-a-half-hour lunch together, or sneaking out of the office an hour early to drink at a bar.

Frank's going to be "working from home" tomorrow -- who's planning the mouse party?

Throw a Party

To set someone up, for a robbery, or a stick-up. To gain someone`s trust, goad them into lowering their barrier on the first meeting, and rob them on the next encounter.

Yo... that new guy that just moved into dude`s old spot, got some good shit yo....

Trap Party

A Trap Party is an MMO term that refers to a party advertised for clearing a raid or dungeon, but often hides the fact there are low skill level players involved. It is often used as an expression of frustration or disgust with a party's performance.

The term is often seen in online RPGS such as World of Warcraft (WOW), Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV), and Guild Wars 2 (GW2).

"I thought this was a farming party, but instead it's a trap party!"

n 1. A group outing to the movies that involves chatter, yelling, and loud laughing.
v. 2. To be very loud and obnoxious while seeing a movie.

Prison. Derived from the popular conception that during incarceration prisoners are frequently forced to grab their ankles and receive anal sex from other inmates. Thus, prison is an 'ankle party.
