A creature which listens to screamo music while posing as a goth. They are distinguishable from goths because well... they look nothing like goths. They wear very baggy clothes. And band t-shirts. And epic chunky new rocks.

Screamo is not emo. its much closer to brutal death metal. many metal bands use Screamo (pig squealing) in their music. emo music is bands like simple plan and is about as far from screamo as it gets. screamo is about pushing the music you make to its limits and giving 110%
Screamo Bands are band like Devil Wears Prada or Alesana. Emo music is Simple Plan or Secondhand Seronade.

Bands that think they are the shit because they can scream into their microphones randomly and people call it music.
Chrissy: Hey. Listen to this!
(random screaming with music playing)
Charlie: ewww! Is this that stupid screamo music?
Chrissy: Cool huh?
Charlie: no

Post Screamo: an unofficial definition for bands which draw influence on both Screamo and modern melodic Post Hardcore. A good example of a Post Screamo band would be Alexisonfire or early material from Fear Before The March Of Flames. These bands are clearly neither Screamo or Post Hardcore but are a mixture between the two.
The debut full length from Alexisonfire clearly combines common elements found in Screamo (chaotic starts and stops, vocal driven songs) as well as elements from Post Hardcore (harmonized guitars, melodic sung vocals) therefore this must be Post Screamo.
